K-M Middle School News for Wednesday, May 31, 2017

 

Parents:

 

Continuous Progress (CP): CP is an after school program that runs from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday in Room 201.  Students may choose to attend CP to get help with homework, catch up on work they have missed & have a quiet place to study.  At 4:00 p.m. students & parents are responsible for their own transportation home.  Students may not stay at school unsupervised.

 

Attention All Students: Remember to clean out your locker room lockers by TODAY. PE students will NOT need to change for PE Wednesday - Friday this week. Any clothing remaining in lockers will be discarded/donated.

 

LOST AND FOUND TABLE: Please check the lost and found table for items. Unclaimed items will be donated.

Summer Boys’ Basketball: Sharpen your BB skills with a summer clinic! Gr. 4-7 $55 & Gr. 8-12 $65. You get a $5 discount if you pay by June 5. Register online at www.komets.k12.mn.us under Community Ed or pick up a registration sheet in the MS Office.

Gr. 8 Students: Driver Education Reminder:  The Kasson-Mantorville Driver Education sign-up information can be found on the K-M Website under Middle School or High School – Activities.  SIGN-UP is now ONLINE through CommunityEd. You must be 14 years old to sign up and will then be able to start Driver Training once you turn 15!  Classes fill up quickly, so get your name on the list as soon as possible. If you have specific questions, please contact Mr. B. Johnson – his contact information is posted on the Driver Education website.   Buckle Up!

Gr. 6-7 Boys: There will be a Boys’ Soccer meeting for all incoming Gr. 7-8 students at 8:00 p.m. TODAY Tuesday, May 30 in the HS Commons. This meeting is for any boy who is interested in going out for soccer next fall.

2017-18 WEB Leaders!! Please remember to turn in your parent permission form to be a WEB Leader.  We will also be meeting TODAY Tuesday, May 30 during Period 7-8.  Start thinking about a t-shirt design & bring your ideas to the meeting!
