Our Top 20 Quote of the day…

The Star Quality of organization means being able to look ahead and keep our life in order.  What’s an area in your life where you need to be more organized? What could you do today to be more organized?  Remember: Keep an eye on someone who’s organized in this area, and they’ll show you how to do it. You can always ask for help if needed.

Our Top 20 Quote of the day…

Some things come easy in our life; some things don’t.  Sometimes we need to keep trying in order to accomplish something or get better at it.  We need the Star Quality of persistence. Persistence means sticking to something until we’re successful.  We need persistence in school. Learning can be hard work. Most of us don’t learn everything right away. What is an area in your life where you need to be persistent? What is something that doesn’t come easily?  Something you’ll need to stick with or practice again and again in order to accomplish?

Thursday

LIVE from the Production Studio on Thursday, November 1, 2018.

Academic Triathlon practice for all interested 5th-8th graders starts today! Practice will be held in Ms. Thornburg's room, 703, after school and will end at 4:15. See you there!

Our Top 20 Quote of the day…

Sometimes in conflicts we try to win and make the other person lose.  That’s not a good strategy. In fact, it’s a Bottom 80 strategy. Because even if we win and get what we want, we damage the relationship with the other person.  What’s a Top 20 strategy? See if you can create a win for yourself and the other person.

Our Top 20 Quote of the day…

We want to be problem solvers, not problem namers.  We can announce, “There’s trash on the floor!” or we can help by picking up the trash and throwing it away.  Cleaning up the mess makes us problem solvers.
