Any 5-8 student who is interested in participating in Bugsy Malone Jr. should plan on attending the read through on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 3-5 in the High School Forum Room.  If you have any questions, please email Mr. Buehler for more information.

Our Top 20 Quote of the day…

Today consider this quote from Elbert Hubbard, an American editor, author, and publisher: “The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one.”  Then ask yourself: Why am I afraid to make mistakes? What do I think will happen if I make a mistake?

Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance

Make someone’s day and sit by someone new on the bus….you might make a new friend!

Our Top 20 Quote of the day…

It feels good to be in our Comfort Zone.  When we try to do something new or something that’s more difficult, we might feel uncomfortable or anxious.  When we are being a Bottom 80, we only want to stay in our Comfort Zone. When we are being Top 20, we’re willing to go outside our Comfort Zone because we know it’s helping us learn and grow.  Being inside our Comfort Zone and outside our Comfort Zone are both important. We just don’t want to be stuck inside all the time.

Our Top 20 Quote of the day…

If we want to develop the Star Quality of courage, we can’t focus on what people think.  What if the Wright Brothers got hung up on what other people thought? What about Martin Luther King, Jr?  Rosa Parks? Abraham Lincoln? Where would we be today if our heroes worried about everyone liking them?

Thursday

Think about our Kind KoMet challenges this week and if you help your teacher with something!

Our Top 20 Quote of the day…

Tornadoes in nature are very destructive. Social tornadoes are also destructive.  What have you seen a social tornado destroy, harm, or injure?

Our Top 20 Quote of the day…

What are you left with after you’ve experienced being in a tornado? What do you feel inside? Most people feel yucky when they’ve been around a tornado.  They know they are better than that.
